BIOGRAPHY
Victoria Helen Siddle was born in June 1982, London. Aged seven her parents moved to Suffolk, where she spent the remainder of her childhood growing up in “the middle of nowhere”, in an isolated village not far from the East Anglian coast. It is this isolation that she believes benefited her imagination, subsequently leading her to take a passionate interest in the arts.
After taking art foundation aged 21 at the Norwich School of Art, she went on to study BA (Hons) Photography at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2007.
A keen writer, her images often begin as stories; these are not always her own, she prefers the words of strangers when looking for a muse. Silently these words are then carefully woven into her visual work.
